The longest run is 11kms and there are 33 lifts, including gondolas, chairlifts and T-bars, with a capacity for 40,000 people per hour. The excellent ski school has 55 accomplished instructors.
There are a further 100kms of top rate slopes farther down Montafon Valley. The resort of Schruns is a big draw for the region and is the king of the après-ski scene and the shopping centre for Montafon. For those who need a break from the slopes, there are many charming and scenic hamlets dotted around the area.
The ski season runs from early December to late April with special rates in January. There are a number of ways to get here, but the most convenient would be to fly to Innsbruck's provincial airport and take the Skibus from there.
