Mont Blanc Ski and Snowboard Resort, Canada

Located near to famed Mont Tremblant and part of the Laurentian Mountains, Mont Blanc is a small ski resort near the town of Saint-Agathe, to the north of Montréal. It is a great family ski and snowboard destination, catering to all abilities, from novice to expert.

Mont Blanc is a beautiful resort with charming country architecture, a convenient location and impressive facilities. This unique slope-side, lakefront Alpine village boasts true ski-in/ski-out accessibility, a range of boutiques and specialized stores and childcare facilities.

The first-class hotel offers quality rooms and a sports complex, while non-ski activities at the resort include spa and tennis facilities. Additionally, there are some wonderful restaurants. For après-ski, head for nearby Saint-Faustin, Saint-Jovite and Sainte-Agathe; while children have the outstanding Jungle Magique, the largest indoor playroom in Canada.

Mont Blanc boasts 39 pistes, over half of which are difficult or expert trails, and there is also plenty of easy terrain available. Eight high-speed lifts, with an hourly capacity of 10,000 people, provides access to all slopes and the ski school provides professional instruction for skiers of all ages and abilities. Snowboarders can also make use of the terrain snow park.

For alternative skiing, Mont Tremblant is only minutes to the north and the slopes around the Saint-Sauveur Valley lie to the south. The historic region of Mont-Tremblant (St-Jovite) also offers interesting sightseeing and shopping opportunities. Montréal is good for a day out and is bursting with cultural delights and beautiful parks and gardens.

The ski season at Mont Blanc runs from early December to April and the most convenient way to get here is to fly to Montréal-Dorval Airport and transfer by coach.
