The purpose-built resort of Mount Snow features five base lodges and one summit lodge, and services and facilities are top notch. There is an equipment rental and repair shop, sports shops (including a snowboard shop), conference and group services, childcare facilities (from six weeks up), and first-aid.

There are a whopping 145 slopes that run over 80kms at Mount Snow resort; the longest is four kilometres. Terrain over the 520-metre vertical consists of gentle beginners’ slopes, extensive intermediate runs, and challenging expert runs and off-piste. Mount Snow also boasts 23 lift systems with an hourly uplift capacity of over 36,000 people.
For alternative skiing and snowboarding and only four kilometres from Mount Snow, Haystack features another 42 trails on all types of terrain and for levels and offers a classic ski experience. Alternatively, for a day away from the slopes, Manchester is a university town with a wealth of sightseeing and attractions.
The ski season runs from November to April at Mount Snow ski resort, with cheaper rates before the Christmas holidays and towards the end of the season; children under the age of six years ski for free. The most convenient means of transport is to fly to Albany (New York) and transfer by shuttle bus.
