The village of Verbier has 120kms of downhill runs over 70 slopes, making a total of 410kms in the region. Skiers of all abilities are catered for, with 32 per cent of runs for beginners, 42 per cent for intermediates and 26 per cent for the advanced. One hundred lifts connect the region, while the total number of lifts at the resort is 38.
The highest elevation here is 3,330m, and lifts have an uplift capacity of 41,328 skiers per hour. The vertical drop measures 1,830m, with the longest in the region being 2,509m. An additional 20kms of cross-country trails, plus excellent snowboard facilities, including two snowboard parks, complete the set up here. There are four schools teaching every kind of snow sport at the resort.

The season runs from late November to April and the snow conditions are marvellous due to the resort’s elevation and year-round sunshine. Geneva International Airport is 1 hour, 30 minutes away and travel to the resort involves a number of connections by train and bus.
