Reputedly offering some of the best skiing in Austria are the resorts of Lech and Zürs, located in the Arlberg ski area. Besides great skiing, Zürs offers a charming town filled with picturesque white stucco Vorarlberger buildings, while Lech offers 14th century architecture and great views of its surrounding valley.
Vienna is the country's major air hub and handles a wealth of international air connections. Meanwhile, road options from Germany and Switzerland are both plentiful and reliable, with the autobahn from Munich providing a solid connection to Vienna via Salzburg. Vienna is connected by rail to all of Europe's major cities with connections from Munich leaving daily at 09:24 and 23:19.
