Alpe di Siusi - Sciliar is located in the western Dolomites, 80kms north of Trento, in the south Tyrol region, and is only directly accessible by road. There is a possible rail connection from London to Bolzano, while self-drive is also feasible, but long. Flying to either Milan or Venice and taking a domestic flight to Bolzano is the fastest option.
Milan’s Linate Airport and Venice’s Marco Polo Airport are about equidistant from Alpe di Siusi - Sciliar, with both offering rail transfers, via Trento, to Bolzano; from there you need to take a bus. However, taking another flight to Bolzano (near the resort), from Milan or Venice, and transferring by bus is the most convenient option.
Alpe di Siusi - Sciliar is well-connected to the European motorway network, with the E-45 highway running north-south through Bolzano. The quickest route from Calais goes via Reims, Metz, Strasbourg, Stuttgart, Ulm, Munich and Innsbruck. From Innsbruck, take the Austrian A-13 (south) leading on to the Italian A-22. Exit after Ponte Gardena on to the Sp-24 for the resort (1,240kms; 11 hours).

Train connections from London involve a Eurostar service from Waterloo to Paris, from where high-speed trains go to Milan. The Milan-Trento service is a popular one and there are many onward connections to Bolzano. From here, local buses go to Castelrotto, Siusi and Fie allo Sciliar villages.
Eurolines buses also service Trento, from where local services go to Bolzano and the resorts.
