Getting to Dear Valley, USA for your Skiing and Snowboarding Holiday

Deer Valley ski resort is located 50kms east of Salt Lake City and is very straightforward to get to. The most common travel method is to fly to Salt Lake City and use one of the many shuttle bus companies for a return transfer. Getting here by car is also easy, thanks to the proximity of I-84.

The nearest major airport is Salt Lake City International Airport, a major hub receiving flights from all over the US, Canada and other world cities. A range of shuttle bus companies offer transport to and from Park City and the resort, or if you are travelling by car from the airport, take I-80 and highway 224.

By road, Salt Lake City lies on the junction of the (north-south) I-15, running from the Canadian border through Salt Lake City and on to Los Angeles. Interstate 80 runs in from the west and San Francisco and continues through Chicago and on to New York, in the east.

Salt Lake City is also served by the Amtrak California Zephyr, arriving in Salt Lake at 04:00, and a service from Chicago which arrives at midnight. Two Greyhound buses arrive in Salt Lake City daily from San Francisco, and three arrive from Chicago. Trains and buses are cheaper than flying but are very time consuming.
