Getting to Folgarida, Italy for your Skiing and Snowboarding Holiday

Folgarida - Marilleva is located 63kms north of Trento and 300kms northeast of Milan in the Val di Sole ski region. Options for getting here include flying, rail travel and self-drive. Flying to Verona Airport and transferring by Skibus is the most popular option.

The nearest international airport to Folgarida - Marilleva ski resort is Verona Airport, from where there is a regular Skibus to the resort. Alternatively, trains go from Verona, via Trento, to Male, from where local buses go to Folgarida and Marilleva. Milan’s Linate Airport is an alternative and Innsbruck Airport (Austria) is also within reach.

The quickest self-drive route from Calais goes via the cities of Reims, Strasbourg, Basel and Zürich. From Zürich, take the A-13 to Landquart, route 28 to Santa Maria, and routes SS-38, SS-300 and SS-42 to Folgarida and Marilleva (1,165kms; 12 hours).

From Verona Airport, take the A-22 motorway north and head west on the SS-43 and the SS-42 (160kms; two hours). Milan Linate Airport is 290kms away along the A-4 and A-22 motorways.

Eurostar trains go all day from London Waterloo to Paris, from where a high-speed service goes to Milan. From here, there is a direct service to Trento, from where local trains go to Male. Local buses go to Folgarida and Marilleva from Male all day.
