Katschberg ski resort is located 100kms south of Salzburg and 20kms northeast of Spittal in the province of Salzburg. The easiest and fastest way of getting to the resort is to fly into Salzburg International Airport and hire a car. By rail, Eurostar trains link up with local rail services to Spittal, where the final leg of the journey is made by bus.
Salzburg International Airport is the nearest and receives flights from all over Austria, Europe and other destinations worldwide. Shuttles go from the airport into Salzburg, from where trains go to Spittal. From here, regular buses service Katschberg.
By car, the drive from Calais is over 1,200kms but the route is fairly direct, covering major highways; however, tolls are quite expensive. If you fly to Salzburg and hire a car, the drive is just over an hour south (115kms) on the A-10 south and B-99.
It is possible to get to Spittal by rail from London, involving four connections. Daily Eurostar trains leave London at 17:09 going firstly to Paris; from here, an overnight train goes to Munich from gare de l'Est. There are numerous onward connections to Salzburg and then on to Spittal via Eurocity trains. From Spittal, you need to take a regular bus to Katschberg.
