Klosters ski resort is 140kms southeast of Zürich in the region of Graubünden and is accessible by road and rail. There are frequent flights to Zürich from most major cities and trains go from the airport, via Landquart, to Klosters. Rail travel from London is possible, and self-drive along modern autoroutes and autobahns is also an option.
The nearest major airport is Zürich International Airport (150kms) which receives both scheduled and charter services from all over the world. There are two trains per hour to Klosters with a change at Landquart to a secondary line (2 hours, 30 minutes); trains from Landquart to Klosters go every hour. Hiring a car from the airport will save an hour on the transfer time.
Self-drive from Calais involves a 970-kilometre journey (9 to 10 hours) along a well established route. The quickest option is to take the Reims/Metz/Strasbourg/Basel/Zürich/Landquart route. If you decide to rent a car at Zurich's airport, take the Zürich-Chur (A-3) road as far as the Landquart/Davos exit. The drive from Landquart to Klosters passes through Kublis before arriving at Klosters-Dorf and then Klosters-Platz.
Trains from London go regularly and there are between two and four changes, taking between 13 and 20 hours. The 07:43 Eurostar from Waterloo station to Brussels (Midi) is the most convenient connection. A Eurocity Landquart-bound train leaves Brussels at 12:15 and arrives at 21:33. From here, change to a Regional train for Klosters (departing at 21:45 and arriving at 22:31).
