Getting to Las Vegas, USA for your Skiing and Snowboarding Holiday

Las Vegas ski and snowboard resort lies in the Lee Canyon area of Mount Charleston and is 45 minutes by car from downtown Las Vegas. Most people take a flight to McCarran International Airport and then transfer by hire car, or alternatively stay in the city at a hotel that runs a private bus service to the resort.

McCarran International Airport receives flights from a range of international destinations, as well from many domestic airports. Transfer options to downtown Vegas include taxicabs, limousines and private shuttle services. There are also some public bus services to some downtown destinations. Hire cars are available from the airport and are perhaps the most convenient option.

By road to the resort from Las Vegas, take US highway 95 north about 48kms to highway 156, which leads directly to the resort.

Train services are not available to the resort, and neither are public bus services. However, there are Amtrak rail services and Greyhound buses to the city of Las Vegas, from where you can transfer to the resort by road. A private limousine service can be chartered from certain downtown hotels; otherwise, a hire car is the only real option for transport to the resort.
