Morzine is one of the most easily accessible ski resorts in Europe and can be reached by plane, train, or car. For those with limited time, the best means of transportation to the resort is air travel to Geneva, although the train option is also quite quick.
Geneva-Cointrin Airport is the air transportation gateway to Morzine, with regular flights from major European cities and beyond. From the airport, you can either take the scenic train ride up into the mountains and a short taxi trip, or you can take a shuttle bus.
Morzine is situated 600kms from Paris, 807kms from Lille, 200kms from Lyon, 996kms from London, 848kms from Bruxelles and 1,042kms from Amsterdam. From Calais, the trip takes about nine hours (900kms). Follow the Geneva/Mont Blanc autoroute and take exit 18 to Morzine/Avoriaz.
By train from London Waterloo station, take the Eurostar to Paris (four hours), and then connect to a high-speed TGV train to take you to Cluses station. There are regular buses and taxis from the train station to Morzine ski resort.
