Neustift im Stubaital is located in the Stubai Valley, 25kms south of Innsbruck, and there are a number of viable options for getting here; the most convenient of which is to fly into Innsbruck and take the free Skibus. Flying into Munich Airport and then driving is more practical, however. It is possible to get to Fulpmes (eight kilometres from Neustift) from London, and driving is also a good option.
The gateway airport is Munich's FJ Strauss Airport, with regular scheduled and charter flights the world over. Regular trains go from the airport to the city, from where five Eurocity trains a day go to Innsbruck. The hourly Skibus then makes the 45-minute journey to Neustift im Stubaital. Driving is a more popular option. Innsbruck's provincial airport receives flights from major European cities and is serviced by the Skibus.
Neustift is 1,160kms from Calais along major autoroutes and autobahns (allow two days travel time). From Munich Airport, Neustift is 223kms along the A-8 (Munich-Salzburg) autobahn and the A-12 (Innsbruck) autobahn. From Innsbruck, drive along the A-13 and the B-183, and then follow the signs. From Innsbruck Airport, head for the A-12 (east), and then the A-13 (south), as above (26kms or 30 minutes).
The 17:09 Eurostar train leaves London's Waterloo Station every day for Paris' gare du Nord. Walk or take a taxi to gare de l'Est from where an overnight train goes to Munich, arriving the next morning. Regular Eurocity trains then go to Innsbruck (two hours) where you can change to a Fulpmes-bound train. From here, take a local bus or taxi. Alternatively, take the free Skibus from Innsbruck train station to Neustift (October through May).
