Getting to Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig, Andorra for your Skiing and Snowboarding Holiday

Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig ski resort is located in the east of Andorra, close to the French border. Travellers can only arrive directly by road, with flight, rail and bus combinations also available. The most popular way to get here is to fly to Barcelona, or Toulouse, and take a (return) scheduled bus, or hire a car. Good highways make self-drive popular and you can also take a train from the UK to within 13kms of the resort.

The nearest international airport is Toulouse-Blagnac; however, Barcelona’s El Prat de Llobregat Airport has more flight options. Two daily Novatel coaches go from Blagnac to Pas de la Casa (€20, one way; €37, return) and four a day from El Prat (€33, one way; €62, return). A train and bus combination goes from Toulouse’s Matabiau station and also from El Prat. Car hire is more convenient.

Allow two days if you are driving from Calais. The journey is 1,143kms along major tolled autoroutes, via Paris, Limoges and Toulouse, and finishing on the N-22/E-9 to Pas de la Casa. From Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, drive south along the A-64, D-919, and the E-9 (170kms, two hours, 30 minutes). From El Prat Airport, keep heading north after the A-18 to the E-09, E-9 (France), and the N-22 (195kms, three hours).

There is a train connection from London, Waterloo, to L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre (near Pas de la Casa) going via Paris. A daily Eurostar leaves London at 17:09 and arrives in Paris’ du Nord station at 20:59. Change to Paris’ d’Austerlitz station where an overnight train to L’Hospitalet leaves at 21:56, and arrives at 07:25 the next day. From here take a regular bus to Pas de la Casa.

Trains from Barcelona go to Puigcerdà station (37kms from Pas de la Casa) where local buses go on to la Casa. Buses also arrive from Madrid.
