Getting to Saint Veran, France for your Skiing and Snowboarding Holiday

Saint Veran’s remote location means it takes a bit of planning to reach. An air/road combination is the most convenient, while rail is a viable alternative.

The nearest international airport is at Grenoble, which is located 170kms from Saint Veran, and is accessible via a three-hour road trip. There are no shuttle buses to the resort, so you’ll need to arrange a hire car or splurge on a taxi.

To arrive at the resort by car, head south from Paris on the A6 autoroute towards Lyon and Grenoble. As you near Grenoble, take the A480 towards Sisteron and Gap, the RN94 toward Briancon, the D902 toward Guillestre, and finally the D497 and D7 to the resort. The journey takes eight hours (730kms) from Paris.

A high-speed TGV train is available from Paris to Valence, where a connecting service to Mondauphin/Guillestre will get you to the resort via the Valence/Briancon line. The journey from Paris to Valence should take around 10 hours and there is a shuttle bus available to the resort during the season.
