Getting to Sedrun, Switzerland for your Skiing and Snowboarding Holiday


Sedrun Disentis is located in the canton of Graubunden in central Switzerland and is close to Zürich as well as St Moritz. The most practical way of getting to the resort is to fly to Zürich and catch a train from the airport to the resort itself. Alternatively, a combination of Eurostar and overnight train will get you to the resort after a 15-hour journey. A package deal will often prearrange all travel options.

The nearest international airport to Sedrun Disentis is located three hours north in Zürich. After flying to the airport, either hire a vehicle or catch a train service travelling to the station at Sedrun Disentis. For drivers, take the N3 and N13 autoroutes to Chur and continue along the Rhine towards Andermatt.

By car, the resort of Sedrun Disentis is 879kms (nine hours) from the port of Calais. The journey will cost €19 in toll road costs and will take you through France and Switzerland. If you fly to Zürich and hire a vehicle, then travel via the N3 and N13 autoroutes to Chur and on to Andermatt by following the Rhine.

By train, leave London Waterloo or Ashford in Kent on the Eurostar, arriving in Paris around four hours later. From there, take the overnight train (nine hours) to Chur, which lies on the world famous Glacier Express line. The resort of Sedrun Disentis is also situated on this route and is 1 hour, 30 minutes from the station at Chur.
