Sierra Summit is situated on Huntington Lake, 100kms northeast of Fresno and 375kms southeast of San Francisco, and is best accessed by car along highway 168, or by flying to San Francisco and transferring by car or shuttle bus.
The nearest major airport is Oakland International Airport, while San Francisco International Airport receives more carriers and traffic from overseas. Shuttle buses run from Oakland Airport to Sierra Summit, or you can take a short flight to Fresno Air Terminal and transfer from there. By car from San Francisco, take interstates 580, 205 and highway 120 towards Manteca, from where highway 99 goes to Madera and highways 145 and 168 go to the resort.
Sierra Summit is 465kms and six hours from Los Angeles. Take I-5 and highway 99 to Fresno, from where highways 41 and 168 go to the resort. Las Vegas is more than a day’s drive via Barstow, Bakersfield and Fresno.
Fresno is also served by Amtrak trains and Greyhound Lines buses from various locations in California, and the Fresno mountain shuttle runs from the Fresno Sport Shop/Information Center on most weekends and holidays throughout the winter season.
