Travelling by rail and self-drive are also viable options.
Bolzano Airport is the closest at about 40kms from the resort villages of Val di Fiemme. Transfer is usually by bus, while car hire is also available. Verona Airport is the next nearest, while Venice-Marco Polo and Milan-Linate are also within reach. A combination of train and bus will get you to the resort from either of these.

From the UK, take the Channel Tunnel train or a Calais-bound ferry from Dover. The quickest route from Calais goes via Reims and Metz (France); Strasbourg, Stuttgart and Munich (Germany); Innsbruck (Austria) and Bolzano (Italy). From Bolzano, continue south on the A-22 and take the exit for Montagna, from where the SS-48 goes to Val di Fiemme (1,300km; 12 hours).
