The resort of Verbier is situated in the southwest of Switzerland close to the provincial city of Martigny. Getting there involves travelling by air, rail and road or a combination of all three. The most practical means of getting to the resort is by flying to the nearby airport at Geneva and connecting via train and bus from there. Alternatively, a Eurostar train to Paris and connecting overnight train to Switzerland will also get you to Geneva. Travellers on a package deal will often have travel arrangements prearranged.
The nearest international airport to the resort is in Geneva, just 1 hour, 30 minutes away. From Geneva, board a train to nearby Martigny from where a connecting St Bernard bus waits to take you to the resort itself.
