By car, Villars is 793kms from Calais with a journey time of less than eight hours and toll road costs of €40. This journey involves travel through France and Switzerland. If you fly to Geneva and hire a vehicle, take the A9 motorway and exit at Aigle. From there follow the signs to the resort. Zürich is 210kms from the resort, while Lyon is 240kms away.

By train, catch the Eurostar to Paris from London Waterloo or Ashford in Kent for a four-hour journey. Take the high-speed TGV to Lausanne (3 hours, 30 minutes) and board a train travelling to Brex, from where there is a train service to the resort, or to Aigle, from where you can board a regular bus service.
