The resort of Bydalen is well suited to families looking for a calming yet absorbing stay within a setting overflowing with natural beauty and compelling wildlife. The resort of Bydalen has a relatively subdued aprčs-ski, with the focus being on a charming relaxed atmosphere. However, there are five restaurants and bars, a disco, an ice bar and several cafés, offering some respite of the slopes. If you want non-ski alternatives, there are some wonderful options such as: horse-drawn sleighing; snowmobile safaris; ice-fishing; dog-sledding; and traditional saunas. The resort also promotes local handicrafts in stores and traditional Laplander art shops.
The season begins at the start of December and runs until the end of March, with typically great Swedish snow conditions throughout.
