Situated in the Val di Sole region, Folgarida - Marilleva ski resort is set amid beautiful mountain scenery and offers 50kms of superb skiing and snowboarding runs for all skill levels. Folgarida - Marilleva is also lift-linked with Madonna di Campiglio, Passo Tonale and other resorts in the region, amounting to 340kms of runs in total.
The traditional mountain resort villages of Folgarida and Marilleva offer good ski and non-ski facilities and there are a host of shops, cafés and restaurants. Accommodation is offered in a range of hotels, chalets and apartments and there are 18,000 beds available in total.
Folgarida - Marilleva’s 30 runs and 50kms of terrain are segregated into 60 per cent for beginners, 25 per cent for intermediates and 15 per cent for advanced skiers and snowboarders. The longest run is seven kilometres and there are 24 ski lifts with an hourly capacity of 32,600 people. In addition, there are 47kms of cross-country trails, some of which go through pinewood forests.
Other winter activities and facilities include: ice-skating; parasailing; indoor swimming; sauna facilities and a fitness centre. Additionally, there are many good quality cafés and restaurants. Folgarida and Marilleva also offer sporting and cultural events as well as lively entertainment in bars and nightclubs.
The December to April ski season has excellent snow in February, and peak season rates are over the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Folgarida - Marilleva ski resort is best accessed by flying to Verona, the nearest airport, and transferring by Skibus, or hiring a car. Buses also run in the other direction and trains go from nearby Male.
