Mont Blanc is located to the north of Montréal in the Mont Tremblant ski region and is a skiing and boarding wonderland equipped to satisfy even the most demanding families. Mont Blanc has 39 pistes for all levels and boasts one of the Mont Tremblant region's highest verticals.
The village of Mont Blanc has a wonderful location on the edge of a lake and boasts ski-in/ski-out accessibility and a good range of shops. Accommodation is in hotels, bed-and-breakfasts and charming inns, with a wider choice in the surrounding villages.
There are 39 pistes in Mont Blanc that are divided into 22 per cent for beginners, 31 per cent for intermediates and 47 per cent for advanced and expert snowboarders and skiers; boarders also have the snow park. Eight lift systems can accommodate up to 10,000 people per hour and, additionally, there are five kilometres of cross-country trails.
Other non-skiing winter activities and facilities include an indoor swimming pool, spa and tennis amenities, and sleigh riding and skidooing. For après-ski, the nearby villages of Saint-Faustin, Saint-Jovite and Sainte-Agathe have more of a choice of dining and drinking establishments than the resort itself.
The December to April ski season at Mont Blanc ski resort has its best conditions in February and cheaper weeks running up to the Christmas holidays and towards the end of the season. Flying into Montréal’s Dorval International Airport and taking the ski coach is the most practical and convenient travel option.
