Ski and Snowboarding Information for Bridger Bowl, USA

Bridger Bowl ski resort is located in the southwest of Montana and has an incredible range of terrain, from humble novice slopes to extreme ridge snowboarding and skiing featuring steep chutes and rock cliffs. Several competitions are held each season; the Wild West Shred o' Fest in February is a must-see.

The base lodge at Bridger Bowl provides the facilities and services, with a ski and snowboard school, rental and retail shop, and childcare. The bulk of the facilities are in the main service town of Bozeman and include galleries and museums, and the majority of lodgings; Bridger has just two lodges.

Bridger Bowl ski resort has 69 runs over some diverse terrain that is divided into 25 per cent beginner slopes, 35 per cent for intermediate skiers, 30 per cent for advanced sliders, and 10 per cent for experts. The longest piste is a respectable 4.8kms and seven lift systems feed the slopes. Additionally, there are 30kms of cross-country trails.

Other winter activities and facilities at Bridger Bowl include ice-climbing in nearby Hyalite Canyon, and ice-skating at public outdoor rinks. The resort offers a café and a restaurant; while busier après-ski can be found in Bozeman, with its range of shops, museums, galleries, restaurants, and pubs and bars.

The mid-December to April ski season at Bridger Bowl resort has its best snow conditions in February, and free lift passes for children under six and seniors over 71 years. Gallatin Field Airport provides the quickest access to Bridger Bowl and has shuttle bus and taxi transfers to the resort, via Bozeman. Those travelling from overseas will usually change planes in Denver or Los Angeles.
